1. Stranger Things
the duffer brothers know how to create the perfect 80s coming-of-age series with stranger things. Eleven, Dustin, Mike, Lucas, and will are just a few of the young protagonists we meet as they explore their small town in search of will's missing friend. As they uncover more of the mysteries that surround their sleepy hometown, they soon find themselves at odds with a terrifying creature from another dimension and outsmarting some shady government officials while also trying to keep their families intact. There are so many surprises along the way that you won't be able to put this show down until you've binged watched all 8 episodes.
2. Better
Call Saul
This show is a spin-off of Breaking Bad, so it's recommended that you watch that first. Bob Odenkirk (Saul) is an accomplished criminal lawyer who moves into the drug trade and begins cooking meth with his new partner Walter White Jr. The series follows the aftermath of Saul’s career as he makes plenty more mistakes in his life and tries to put together what’s left after he lost everything. There are some seriously entertaining characters in this show including a hilarious recurring character called Huell who never speaks and does nothing but wait for Saul.
3.House of
Cards
If you love power, drama, and shady characters as much as we
do, then House of Cards is the show for you. It stars Kevin Spacey as Frank
Underwood, a man with an incredible lust for power. The show is full of
betrayal, violence and grisly deaths. The fifth season just came out on May
30th and it's a must-watch!
4.Orange Is
the New Black
Netflix's Orange Is the New Black is a show that has been
around for a few years now, but is still one of the best television shows on
Netflix. The show follows Piper Chapman, an upper-middle class woman who ends
up in prison for a crime she committed in her youth. While she deals with her
new surroundings and coming to terms with her crime, her fiancé and family try
to cope without her.
5. Arrested Development
This comedy series follows the wealthy, formerly- arrested Bluth family as they navigate their way through life. Arrested Development has been off the air since 2013 but it's still full of funny moments and quotable lines. One fan favorite is I've made a huge mistake. The show is available on Netflix in chronological order, so you can go back and rewatch episodes that you may have missed or
just want to watch again.
